OM midfielders Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jordan Veretout, already absent on Sunday in Lyon, will be unavailable again on Friday when they host Metz, their coach Gennaro Gattuso announced on Thursday. “They are unavailable, like Amir Murillo. I spoke to the doctors and Geoffrey should resume on Sunday, the other two Mondays,” Gattuso explained.
Murillo is a replacement full-back but Kondogbia and Veretout are two regular starters for OM. Their absence comes in addition to that of captain Valentin Rongier, also a midfielder who has been injured since the beginning of November. OM, 8th in the championship, remains on a negative series of three draws and one defeat before facing Metz.
