Liverpool outclassed West Ham 5-1 on Wednesday evening in the quarter-finals of the English League Cup, joining Chelsea, Fulham and Middlesbrough, who qualified the day before, in the last four.
The semi-finals will pit Liverpool against Fulham and Middlesbrough against Chelsea in two-legged matches in January, depending on the draw made immediately after Wednesday's match.
Dominik Szoboszlai (28th), Curtis Jones (56th, 84th), Cody Gakpo (71st) and Mohamed Salah (82nd) scored for the Reds. Jarrod Bowen (77th) saved the honor for West Ham, currently eighth in the Premier League.
