Egypt and Liverpool national team superstar Mohamed Salah was due to undergo tests on his left hamstring on Friday after coming off with an injury the day before during the 2-2 draw against Ghana in the FIFA World Cup group stage. Africa of Nations, the selection doctor told AFP. “Salah felt pain in his hamstring, which led to his substitution,” explained Mohamed Abou Elela. “He will undergo medical examinations on Friday to find out if he can play against Cape Verde.”
