Thomas Muller is known to be a good customer during his interviews. He proved it again this Tuesday after the draw conceded by Bayern Munich against Real Madrid in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League (2-2). Invited to answer questions for the British show CBS Sports Golazo, in which Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards are consultants, the German from Bayern began his intervention normally.
He notably assured that he did not feel the pain of an “old man” after the match and that he “felt good today”, before stopping at the sight of a person off-camera, and added with a smile on his face: “Tchouaméni is listening, he is listening to our tactics for the next match.”
Which caused a burst of laughter on the set of the show, with the consultants inviting Muller to make the Real Madrid player appear in front of the cameras. The French international (24 years old, 31 caps) finally appeared in the image to shake hands with the Bavarian striker and leave. “He will come later,” added Muller to conclude the sequence.
