Basketball World Cup: when Kobe Bryant resurfaces

The pictures speak for themselves. On Saturday, during the first group C match of the Basketball World Cup, between Jordan and Greece (71-92), basketball legend Kobe Bryant, tragically deceased in 2020, resurfaced during the meeting.

For one match, the Jordanian Rondae Hollis-Jefferson perfectly imitated Bryant's game. Number 24 on the back (it can't be invented), the former Nets player in the NBA released the whole panoply: dribbling, hesitation, shooting, support... everything seemed to come from Kobe Bryant. So Hollis-Jefferson shot from the same positions as Bryant in his day. The Jordanian of course pulled off the famous Lakers legend's signature fade-away and finished the game...at 24 points!

The video of the most beautiful baskets of Hollis-Jefferson went around the world, reaching 22 million views in less than 24 hours, on X (ex-Twitter).
