The 420 kg piece is impossible to immobilize, repeated impacts represent a real risk for the structural integrity of the float, and therefore of the entire boat.
It is therefore necessary to remove the foil but this operation is impossible alone at sea for the navigator. Team Actual is organizing itself to meet Anthony Marchand in Cape Town and carry out all the necessary repairs within the allotted time of 24 hours, the minimum stopover period imposed by the race regulations.
