Line 6, which connects Nation to Charles-de-Gaulle Étoile, is at a standstill this Friday morning. In a tweet, the RATP reports that the drivers are exercising their right of withdrawal, after the call from the FO RATP union the day before.
The employees denounce the custody of a driver of line 6, involved in the fatal accident last Saturday. A 46-year-old woman was killed when her coat got stuck in the subway doors at Bel Air station.
This Friday, the driver will go before a judge. "The traction division of FO-RATP drivers' union cannot tolerate that our colleague who has done his job, be treated like a criminal and that he spends the night at the depot", underlines FO RATP in its press release.
