As part of the first, CMA France and France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) say they are “committed to full employment in the territories”. This involves, for example, setting up “common local action plans to publicize all the services facilitating recruitment in the craft sector” or even “promoting the opportunities to job seekers employment in crafts, as well as access to apprenticeship.

With the “Les Entreprises s’engage” community, CMA has entered into a partnership “in order to strengthen the commitment of the network of chambers of trade and crafts in favor of a more inclusive society and a sustainable world”. This community was initiated by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron in 2018. Its role is in particular to lead “unprecedented coalitions” bringing together in each department, businesses, State services, communities, decision-makers and associations.

Today it brings together 80,000 companies, with a target of 150,000. Thibaut Guilluy, general director of France Travail, is co-president. “The craft sector has a strong need for labor and therefore recruitment in many professions in tension, this type of partnership will allow finer work on the scale of territories and employment areas for a better match between labor needs and job search,” commented Joël Fourny, president of CMA France, quoted in the press release.
