“Who came up with this crazy idea one day to rank our idols?” ? For the end of year celebrations, Le Figaro decided to take stock of nearly 100 years of French song and to rank the singers in a unique program.

For this Thibaut Gauthier brought together the musical elite with Olivier Nuc, head of the music department of Le Figaro, and Nicolas Ungemuth, of Figaro Magazine. We played a simple game like a Top 50 hit: draw 50 names, give our opinion on the work of these artists and classify them to arrive at our list of the 30 greatest French singers.
