On September 1, under a photo of a clear sky, the 58-year-old artist rejoiced: “Vocal cord cancer cured. Resumption of the tour throughout the country at the beginning of 24, here we go again. This Thursday, the musician continues the weather metaphor: “Everything is blue when the black goes away, but for now, the black is there. I tell you, when will one day come back, yes, the clearing will come. “It’s not easy to give up, after 30 years of touring, what is, I realize, a reason for being,” he adds again.

The artist had planned a twelve-date tour across France in 2024. He was notably due to perform in Penmarch and Crozon in February, in Morlaix, Plouguerneau, Béthune, Massy, ​​Langon and Sannois in March. A Parisian date was also planned at the Trianon, in Paris, on April 30.

Miossec opened a new path for French song in 1995 with Boire, a first album with lyrics scratched to the bone. “I have the impression that something did not exist which, today, is present almost everywhere”, established Bertrand Dicale, specialist in French song, in the booklet of the reissue of Boire for its 25th anniversary in 2020.
