But a screenshot of an article from Rolling Stone magazine published in June 2022, a year before the film was released in theaters. In this open letter, journalist Tomas Meir comments on the first official photo of Ryan Gosling in Barbie. Titled “Ryan Gosling is enough to make one's teeth cringe”, this column predicts: “It would take a lot of hours of therapy to forget this nightmarish vision. The star of La La Land looks like an old pervert from West Hollywood, those guys who, at 40, think they still look 20.”

Since Barbie's revenues, which exceeded a billion dollars, have reduced the cackling of skeptics. However, Greta Gerwig's film is once again in turmoil.
