The year 2024 will be “exceptional for Armenia in France”, with the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Charles Aznavour and other events, the Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul-Malak, told AFP. trip to Yerevan.

“This new department will be linked to those of Roman Antiquities and Islamic Arts, with points of contact which will reflect the historical and geographical reality of these encounters between cultures. And Armenia illustrates this very well,” Ms. des Cars told AFP. The visit began Thursday morning with a time of contemplation at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide in Yerevan.
