Steam France: disinfection of medical equipment from A to Z

For nearly 25 years, Steam France has provided its expertise for the sterilization and disinfection of medical devices and medical equipment, particularly surgical equipment, in order to combat infectious risks. The sterilization process takes place in three stages: the equipment is first pre-disinfected by soaking in a solution. Thermo-chemical disinfection is then carried out using a washer-disinfector. Finally, sterilization is carried out using specialized water vapor technology. This triple treatment is mandatory to be able to reuse medical instruments (scissors, scalpels, endoscopes, etc.) and therefore ensure the continuity of the operating room.

Projects have also been initiated in Algeria, Senegal and Ghana.

In addition to fighting against nosocomial infections and diseases, Steam France is currently engaged in post-COVID reflection: accelerating the development of the company in each of the segments to put in place teams and processes in order to prevent related risks. to this type of pandemic, use its expertise to anticipate crises and make its know-how available to as many people as possible. In this context, an IT subsidiary of the company called “S@TIS” has been developing for 12 years a unique and multimodal medical device traceability solution to improve the quality of care and monitoring of infectious risks.

Already a member of the French Healthcare Association and Business France (partner of BpiFrance), Steam France relies on the French ecosystem to optimize its chances of development. The company is also launching a recapitalization operation. Industrialists, institutional investors and dedicated funds are already involved in the project.
