On November 17, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism opened a public consultation so that interested parties could issue allegations to the draft of a new royal decree-law on foreign investment in Spain.

The consultation was closed on November 25 and, although it was taken for granted that the Government was going to approve the decree months ago, it has not yet gone ahead. The new decree must clarify the successive regulations that, when the pandemic broke out two years ago
