Fatal knife attack in Münster – homicide squad is looking for suspects

The attack shook the public at the weekend: After the knife attack at the Send folk festival in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, investigators are looking for a 21-year-old suspect. According to the investigators, a judge issued an arrest warrant against the 21-year-old from Kazakhstan on Monday evening. The police searched the man's home that same evening, but he was not there. A search is also being carried out against the 24-year-old brother of the fugitive. He is said to have visited the folk festival on Saturday with the 21-year-old and to be an important witness.

According to the police, confiscated video recordings of the crime confirmed the suspicion against the 21-year-old. The investigators also published a photo of the suspect for the manhunt.
