Tennis: Novak Djokovic separates from his coach Goran Ivanisevic

New change in the staff of the world number 1. Novak Djokovic, who has still not won a single title this season - quite unusual to underline this - has decided to put an end to his collaboration with Goran Ivanisevic, who had coached him jointly since 2018 and alone from 2022.

“We decided to stop working together a few days ago. Our chemistry on the court has had its ups and downs, but our friendship has always been strong,” the Serbian wrote on Instagram. “I clearly remember the moment I invited Goran to be part of my team,” Nole recalls. “It was 2018, Marian (Vajda) and I were looking to innovate and bring magic to our duo.”

“We not only collaborated, but also laughed a lot and had fun. We were world number 1, broke records, achieved numerous feats, won 12 other Grand Slams and played in a few finals,” recalls the 36-year-old.

A new change in the staff of “Nole”, who had already separated from his agent Edoardo Artaldi and his communications director Elena Cappellaro last September.
