The Italian Jannik Sinner (world No. 3) is the first to qualify for the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 in Miami by beating the Czech Tomas Machac (N.60) 6-4, 6-2 in the quarter-final on Wednesday. Sinner, who has only lost one match since the start of the year, in the semi-final of the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells against the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (N.2), will meet in the semi-final in Florida the Russian Daniil Medvedev (N.4) or Chilean Nicolas Jarry (N.23).
