Injuries have not spared the Red Devil goalkeeper this season. Barely back, Thibaut Courtois seriously relapsed on Tuesday in training with his club Real Madrid even though he had not been back for more than a month.
In August, Courtois suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, forcing him to miss a good part of the season and withdraw from the Euro. On February 21, he once again set foot on the Real Madrid training pitches. But the adventure was short-lived for the goalkeeper who passed through Chelsea, since he suffered a rupture of the internal meniscus in his right knee.
The Madrid club announced on its networks that the operation had been a success and that it could therefore begin its recovery process in the following days.
