Horse Nygård in search of a world CUP debut: Would of course be great fun

Sweden's squad for the hockey world CUP consists so far of 18 NHL players. Which includes William Nylander, Patric Hörnqvist and Mattias Ekholm, who have not had time to join the squad on Wednesday met Russia in Carlson Hockey Games. – To get play the world CUP as the SHL-player along with so many NHL players would be really cool. I have never played with good players before.

" It is important to dare to take for themselves, both at training and on match. I will use my skating and speed all the time, " says Nygård of its continued games to secure a place in the squad.

showed off her best side was Anton Lander. He assisted Loui Eriksson twice, to Sweden's 2-1 goal in the powerplay, and even a 5-2 goal.

" We have played a world CUP earlier together in Prague. Loui is very toxic in front of goal and is incredibly skilled. It is just trying to find the blade, " says Anton Lander on the interaction with Eriksson.

Lander who played in Edmonton the last two seasons belonged to AK Bars Kazan, where he won the KHL by 2017-2018. For the next season features 28-year-old signed a two year contract with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl where the veteran Staffan Kronwall play.

" I didn't really agree with Kazan, but I had two very fine years. We are incredibly grateful for how they took care of us, but at the same time, I look very much forward to play with Yaroslavl and Staffan. It will be exciting and I'm very excited about the opportunity, " says Anton Lander.

Sweden won the match against Russia, 6-4.

" We get a lot of powerplay, and we get the dividends in the powerplay. It may be a little extra energy, " says Lander.

IN the VM initiates the Sweden championship with the match against the Czech republic on Friday, the tenth of may.
