Ceiling collapses at city hall

A piece of the ceiling at Hvidovre town Hall is Tuesday around noon crash together.

It informs the Capital's Preparedness for the Extra Magazine.

- There is apparently not someone who is hurt. It is evidently in connection with any construction work, and we have the announcement on the p.t. are the two workmen, who are shocked that the roof collapsed, says Jan Kirk Iversen, chief of naval operations at the Capital's Preparedness, to Ekstra Bladet.

According to the operation commander is about 80 square meters of the roof, there is a crash.

the Fire brigade is now present at the building to ensure that there is no under the collapsed roof.

- We have been told that there should not be any under tagdelene, but we want to be absolutely sure, says Jan Kirk Iversen.

May Laursen, who is communications consultant at Hvidovre Municipality, says to Ekstra Bladet, that the collapse happened in connection with a major renovation of the town hall.

She says that the town hall has been closed down as a result of the collapse.

- We are located next to a large library, so that we are about to put stalls up, so that citizens can turn to us, she says.

the town Hall has been open during the renovation, which primarily has been an exterior renovation, but the collapse has now led to a shutdown.

Extra Magazine's man on the spot tells, that it is not immediate to see from the outside that there has been damage to the building. The collapse apparently happened in the entrance hall to the building where the citizen is located.

It remains to be seen, what has been taken down.
