Born in Crowthorne (United Kingdom) in 1923, during the Second world war Dyson he served as a civilian in the Royal Air Force, continuing then to Princeton where he obtained a professorship at the age of 30 years - the studies started at the side of the physical Richard Feynman . But the name Dyson became a legend for his theories visionary, as the emigration of the human race on other planets, the last landfall for survival. In fact, his studies on the theory of quantum electrodynamics, solid state physics and nuclear engineering, laid the foundations of modern physics.
The Trust is deeply saddened by the death of Freeman #Dyson at 96. A renowned theoretical physicist and mathematician, he was also a huge champion of his father's music. Also a kind and hospitable man, he gave very generously of his time to musicians and scholars. #RIP https://t.co/4fA8CIRDen

Famous for his "theory of the sphere", the project of the avant-garde in 1959 to a biosphere that keep Humanity in space. The hypothesis of a "bubble" artficiale in the shape of a shell around the Sun, told then in an episode of Star Trek, had the purpose to exploit to the maximum the radiation emitted and captured by a shield of solar panels in order to create a vital space.
Shaded-Project Orion, which Dyson worked between 1957 and 1961, to demonstrate the possibility of space flight through nuclear propulsion, because of the laws against the use of nuclear weapons in space, the scientist devoted himself to the capture of solar energy a day, that technologically advanced societies would have been able to achieve. Always with a trusting gaze towards the future: "the More far we will go in the future, more differentiation of the natural structures we will discover, and more diversifications technology we can create".
