Our time is now gets a new season – if the year 1951

the New director for the "Our time is now" will be Måns Herngren, who himself is a huge fan of the series. He will direct the four sections which will be recorded in the summer and sent christmas 2020 in the SVT.

" when I saw the first episode of "Our time is now" so I thought "Hell, this I had wanted to do". It was very much as I liked, and partly the story of the people but also the environments and that it took place at a restaurant. But the fictional restaurant Djurgårdskällaren, as the series revolves around, will not be the venue also for the fourth season. Instead, viewers will see the family Löwander move out in the archipelago in order to operate the restaurant. One of the series ' key events, how kökspojken Calle and Nina Löwander eventually choose each other and leave their respective families, will be depicted.

– When season two started so was suddenly Nina and Calle that we got to see how it went. Therefore, there was a desire of the screenwriter, Ulf Kvensler to tell the story. We will try to capture the amazing summer feeling and tell a story about the passion and love that you would like to see when it is darkest of the year, " says Måns Herngren.

Season three of the series airs in the autumn and will take place in the late 1960s to the early 1970s. "Our time is now"-the creators have not hesitated to hurry on the story by jumping several years forward in time – even in the middle of the season, something that brought some irration of tv viewers.

" I think they have been very good in daring to surprise the audience. Sometimes you have to dare, even if people expect something else, " says Måns Herngren.

– All the old implied relations and förälskelserna will be with and you may find out more about all of the characters. In the show's other seasons, it has been of great intrigue around the business and affärsdelen, but it's not going to be as big a part of the minisäsongen. I would say that it's going to be a lot of drama, but also a lot of emotion and humor.
