the Swedish chef Johan Jureskog – that invested in a new hamburger chain – was challenged in a brand dispute of the central european branschjätten Burgerista, writes the News agency Siren.
Jureskogs logotypmärke with the shape of a stylized hamburger is similar to Burgeristas, was the argument. Patent and trademark office can, however, see differences between brands, and rejects the objection in the case.
Image from the PRV's decision.PRV writes ”the design of the three ”layers” in the Burgeristas brand differ in such a way that the top and bottom layer has a concave shape while the ”layer” in the middle has a symmetrical design.
the Agency suggests that Jureskogs mark is similar and that some would be able to mix them together but at an overall assessment, there are differences between brands.
