Olympic Games 2024: the establishment responsible for manufacturing Olympic medals victim of a strike

The management proposal, signed by three unions out of five, but which only represent 48% of the staff, provides for salary increases of 4.5% for employees earning less than 28,000 euros per year, then a decreasing percentage which falls at 1.5% for those earning between 42,000 and 48,000 euros.

“When you have 50 euros net more per month, that doesn't mean you're getting by,” criticized an elected official from the CGT Paris when interviewed, citing the level of Parisian rents and the persistent inflation on energy and food. The Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11 and the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8.
