Under the sign of Mario Monicelli . The eleventh edition of the Bif&st-Bari Film Festival (21-28 march) is dedicated to the maestro portrayed on the poster in the photo of Pine Setanni . Among the guests of the festival, conceived and directed by Felice Laudadio , there are Roberto Benigni , Margarethe von Trotta , Ken Loach , Helen Mirren with Taylor Hackford and Edgart Reitz . The Italian cinema of yesterday and today, at the centre of a good part of the festival dedicated to Monicelli on the tenth anniversary of disappearance: 35 films, a photo exhibition with 100 murals, an exhibition of 14 works of Chiara Rapaccini , a series of meetings. One hundred years from the birth of Fellini instead, they are celebrated with a concert at the Petruzzelli Theatre, with the music composed for the film by Nino Rota and Nicola Piovani : in the course of the evening the award-winning Roberto Benigni , the protagonist of the voice of The moon.
