Twenty years after their first appearance on the big screen, The Fantastic Four returns. With a new cast this time. Marvel Studios revealed the faces of the superhero quartet on Wednesday, February 14. A lovely Valentine's Day gift for MCU fans.

Pedro Pascal, notably known for his role in the series The Last of Us, is the headliner; the actor dons the costume of Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby (Napoleon) plays the charming Invisible Woman. Revealed in the final season of Stranger Things, Joseph Quinn plays the role of the Human Torch. And regarding the character of the Thing, Marvel Studios is banking on Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear).

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, Fantastic Four are the genesis of Marvel Comics. And if the comic strip was successful upon its release, the various film adaptations have often had difficulty finding their audience. Roger Corman's film, produced in the 90s, was never released on the big screen. Tim Story's feature film, carried in 2005 by Chris Evans and Jessica Alba, also did not attract many people with an unconvincing result at the box office.

According to Variety, Matt Shakman will direct the upcoming Fantastic Four feature film. The screenplay was written by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. With Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the cast, will this new adaptation of the quartet ultimately pay homage to the hit comic? Verdict on July 25, 2025.
