The Beauregard Festival welcomes David Guetta on July 3 in Normandy

Surprise ! The Beauregard Festival will begin a day earlier than planned, on July 3, to welcome David Guetta, the event organizers announced on Monday. This “Day Before”, as the meeting calls it, has already seen big names like Stromae, Muse and Depeche Mode parade in recent years. The ticket office opens Tuesday at 10 a.m., on the festival site.

David Guetta sits at the top of the trio of French artists, ahead of DJ Snake and Daft Punk, kings of exports in the 2023 rankings of Spotify, the world leader in music streaming. Beauregard, which lasts until July 7 on the Hérouville-Saint-Clair site (Calvados), not far from Caen, has already revealed its program. Among the headliners, we find Justice, Massive Attack, Etienne Daho, SCH, Niska, Véronique Sanson and Zaho de Sagazan, crowned four times at the Victoires de la Musique. Last year, the festival brought together 150,000 spectators.

Before Beauregard, the DJ will pass through the Domaine national de Chambord, known worldwide for its castle. The fifty-year-old succeeds in this historic place international stars like Sting, in 2022, and Imagine Dragons, in 2023. The 30,000 tickets for Chambord sold out in five minutes, according to his social networks. David Guetta is no stranger to French heritage. He celebrated New Year's Eve on December 31, 2020 with a charity concert in front of the glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum, via livestream since the threat of Covid-19 loomed.
