This Sunday, May 1, is the second test of Radio Control Open Almeria.

Motor enthusiasts can make an appointment at the Bastiracing Circuit in El Baico on Sunday, May 1. From eight in the morning, the 2nd test for the Open de Almeria radio control using cars will be held at the circuit. This modality has been promoted by the Bastiracing Club Association for fifteen years. Although registration is still open, twenty riders from the promising category have confirmed their participation. There are stands at the circuit that allow you to see the driving and circuit, making this an excellent opportunity to experience a truly spectacular mode of operation.

The test was presented by Manolo Gavilan, mayor of Baza; Antonio Vallejo, Councilor for Sports; Jose Francisco Domene treasurer, Ramon Perez, secretary of Bastiracing Club. This was a rare opportunity to learn more about the cars and watch them at work with a demonstration showing their speed. Alvaro Domene piloted one of these cars. He is one of the promising young sports modality pilots in Spain.

The Club circuit is the sports area where the activity takes places. It is located in Poligono del Baico, and has seen many years of improvement to its services and provide facilities that can host events of this nature. The test will begin at 9am, with practice available between 8 and 9am. Finals are expected to take place around 4pm.

It is taking advantage of the badge's framework to recognize Baza as an European City of Sport throughout 2022. This means that it will host events like this Sunday's in order to make our city "a regional reference" in this sport.
