The National Police in El Ejido arrested a man who tried to sexually abuse clients by using his position as a masseur. These events took place in November 2013 at a Poniente Almeria massage center.
The detainee made an appointment and prepared one of the rooms in the center with dim lighting, relaxing music, while waiting for the summoned person, which was always a woman.
He locked the main entrance upon their arrival and complained about the insecurity in the area. He also arranged for clients to wear only their underwear.
He began to massage his extremities. Then he attempted to reach the most intimate parts of his body, using the tension release and therapeutic benefits to do so.
Agents from El Ejido's National Police Station obtained testimony from one of their victims who reported the crime to them at the beginning June.
The 47-year-old masseur was therefore arrested and brought to trial on June 15. He was later arrested and brought to justice on June 15, after hearing the story of another client.
They have appealed to women who might have been victims of this individual to come to El Ejido to denounce any criminality and go to the National Police Corps.
