In the previous week comparison, there is a minus of twelve percent.
This is the 32nd consecutive business day of a week-on-week decline.
And an annual low is reached: for the first time in 2022, we have a daily value on a working day below 30,000.
The downward trend in the number of cases is still intact.
The 7-day moving average of new cases remains at the lowest level since June 7.
The nationwide 7-day incidence continues to fall, from 234 to 231.
All federal states are now below 300.
In four federal states, the incidence is now rising slightly against the trend, namely in Brandenburg, Saxony, Hamburg and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Rhineland-Palatinate is also the only federal state whose incidence is above the previous week's level.
120 corona deaths were reported to the RKI yesterday.
That's 19 more than a week ago.
