the Parliamentary Ombudsman will have the clear message from the Aliens affairs and Integration, after the Information has revealed hitherto kept secret mailudveksling in a case of separate asylpar.
A crucial document, according to the newspaper has been kept secret for both the Parliamentary Ombudsman and the Parliament.
Why will the Ombudsman, Jørgen Steen Sørensen, no later than Friday, 1. march have an answer to a number of questions from the ministry.
It is a mailudveksling in the so-called barnebrudesag, where foreigners and integration minister Inger Støjberg (V) demanded the young asylpar separated three years ago.
in Short, contradicts an email sent by the then director of the immigration office, Henrik Grunnet, a claim by the Støjberg about what was going on at a meeting in February 2016.
At the meeting were the director according to the Støjberg have been informed that his administration would make exceptions to an otherwise undtagelsesfri instructions issued by the ministry to separate all asylpar, where one party was under the age of 18 years.
But the secret mailudveksling paints a different picture, namely that the board at the meeting were not made aware of an exception to the instruction.
the Ombudsman therefore ask the ministry to confirm the authenticity of the mailudvekslingen and to get mailudvekslingen handed.
in Addition, he is asking for answers to a series of follow-up questions as to why the documents have not been handed over. And whether or not the message provides the ministry rise to the new notes in the case.
Information has shown the Ombudsman's letter to the professor in administrative law at University of Copenhagen, denmark Michael Gøtzche.
- Between the lines, he asks the ministry: Why have you not given me the material that I have asked for?, he says to Information.
- With the latest developments, you might get the impression that the Ombudsman is dissatisfied with, he has not been able to get to the bottom of the case, because he has not gotten all of the material, he should have had.
Even though the Ombudsman had not been for the classified mail, ended Inger Støjberg to get serious criticism.
He believed therefore, that the ministry's approach had been "extremely poor", and that the minister's instructions from the 10. February 2016 "after its content was unlawful".
