Unfortunately, the extension is also bound to the local supply of Netflix. Read: you can only view movies that are available in Belgium, what your choice is somewhat limited. According to the catalogue of Learning Language with Netflix’ would be there in our country for example, no Chinese or Polish films are available that work well with the extension.
How it works-Language Learning with Netflix’? Assume that you are German and want to refresh, then install the extension and choose one of the German films from the catalogue. When the movie start, there will be an extra panel at the bottom of the screen for the subtitles in English and German. You can move your cursor over each word to float, followed by a separate translation and possible synonyms appear. the
You can also have your language level setting (then rare words are highlighted), to automatically pause after each sentence and the dialogue slow down.
