Lebanon registers the record number of coronaramte after the explosion

Lebanon has on Thursday registered the highest number of coronasmittede on a day - 255.

Additionally, the country has recorded two new deaths of people infected with coronavirus. It writes the AFP news agency, quoting lebanese state tv.

In total, the country has registered 4604 cases of infection with coronavirus. 70 coronaramte have died since the Lebanon confirmed its first infected citizen in February.

Rekordantallet of coronasmittede comes two days after the explosion, which destroyed large parts of Lebanon's capital, Beirut.

the Explosion has caused at least 135 deaths and about 5000 wounded. According to several international media was hospitals quickly crowded, after that the explosion took place on Tuesday.

Many thousands of people were left homeless. The explosion has destroyed the buildings several kilometres in circumference.

the Lebanese government announced on Wednesday the introduction of two weeks of crisis response in Beirut after the explosion.

There is been sent medical equipment, medicine and field hospitals to Beirut from many countries, together with redningseksperter and sleuths.

Denmark has donated 600 kemikaliebeskyttelsesdragter and 12 million dollars to the Beirut, going to the Red Cross and save the children who help in the area at the moment.

the Disaster happened at a time when Lebanon is plunged in the country's worst economic and political crisis since the civil war from 1975 to 1990.

the Damage in the lebanese capital is expected to run into many billions of dollars.
