When the puppy Inez suddenly snuck in the middle of town got the math Sophia Jansson panic. Three sleepless nights later, they could finally reunite. All thanks to a huge sökpådrag with thousands of engaged.

the Walk ended in panic when Sophia Jansson, 31, was out walking his puppy dog Inez on 3 december at Östermalm in Stockholm. The rough dvärgtaxen is only seven months old and was obviously spooked by something. Suddenly she took off to the road.

I started to run but she increased the pace and ended up out on the road. She ran in slow motion. I ran after in a block, but then she was gone, " says Sophia Jansson.

Sofia contacted her guy and together they ran around ”like fools” in the area. Eventually, they realized that a Facebookinlägg would be able to facilitate the search.

– I wrote a text about Inez batter at lunchtime and put up pictures of her. People began to share and the very many comments came in. It was absolutely sick how many people are involved.

the Post was shared over 2,000 times and Sofia updated as soon as there was new information. The phone went hot, and the tips rattled in through both calls and sms – but despite that, they did not take her. Someone had seen her here, someone had seen her there. The couple was looking constantly, and even put up signs in the area.

" I was very worried.

Three sleepless nights later got Sofia a call from a veterinarian that she has been in contact with in the past.

" I heard how she cried into the phone: ”I have her, I have her”.

Sofia took to the place and met up with the woman. Inez was dirty and hungry but there was nothing wrong with her, she concluded. The puppy was able to follow home directly.

" It was totally sick. The tears just squirted, it was absolutely fantastic. We were all so tired, we fell asleep on the kitchen floor.

Three nightmarish days ended good. Sofia is grateful for the huge turnout and the great support that she received.

" It's absolutely fantastic, totally surreal. People who we do not know and have never met have committed themselves. It feels as if the whole of Östermalm have engaged in it here. I really want to thank all of you, " she says.
