A millionaire in the lotto: Kept it a secret for the wife

A lucky man in the middle in the 40s from the Guldborgsund Municipality was, some weeks ago, a millionaire, when he took advantage of a shared second prize in the Eurojackpot. He chose, however, to keep the prize a secret for his wife.

But the lucky man was not the only one who was bowled over backwards, as the news ticked in. He had kept his big lotto win hidden for the wife, whom he had invited on a romantic weekend.

He tells that he imparted the joyful news of a wonderful hotel, where he at first had merely teaset his wife that he should tell her something very important.

- Well, we had a nice trip and stayed at a wonderful hotel. Since it is not something we do so often, so asked my wife to me, what the occasion actually was. And then I just say, that there was something important I had to tell her.

- First, she was completely silent, as she thought that it was something serious, but I was quickly convinced her that it was anything good. I had been a millionaire. Though it had been a nice secret to save on, so it was wonderful to have shared it with her, says the happy Lotto winner.
