After his threats against Turkey, U.S. President Donald Trump Ankara has been closer economic relations. Trump wrote on Monday after a telephone conversation with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the short message service Twitter that there is "great potential for a significant Expansion" of the economic cooperation between the two countries. He had spoken with Erdogan.
Spoke w/ President Erdogan of Turkey to advise where we stand on all matters, including our last two weeks of success in fighting the remnants of ISIS, and a 20-mile safe zone. So spoke about economic development between the U. S. & Turkey - great potential to substantially expand!

on Sunday, Trump had threatened, the US would destroy the Turkey, "economic", should Ankara to attack the Syrian Kurdish militia YPG. In the telephone conversation of Monday, Trump warned his Turkish colleagues now, according to the White house again in front of a crackdown against Kurdish fighters.
Starting the long overdue pullout from Syria while hitting the little remaining ISIS territorial caliphate hardware, and from many directions. Attack again from existing nearby base if it reforms wants. Devastate Turkey economically if they hit Kurds want. Create a 20-mile safe zone....

dealing with the Kurdish people's defense units (YPG) ensures years of fierce dispute between the USA and Turkey. Ankara sees the Syrian Kurdish militia as a threat, since it is closely associated with the Kurdistan workers ' party (PKK), which fought for decades against the Turkish state. The USA support the YPG with weapons and air strikes in the fight against the jihadists militia Islamic state (IS) in Syria.
The Turkey has been several times militarily against the YPG in Northern Syria. President Erdogan has been threatening for weeks, and always with a new Offensive. In December, Trump announced the withdrawal of all US soldiers out of Syria is the concern of the Kurds against a Turkish Offensive to grow. (chk/AFP)
