Explosion and gunfire at a Hotel in Nairobi

In the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, is in the vicinity of a hotel to an Explosion and shots. Live images on television showed on Tuesday, burning cars in front of the Hotel, and shots were occasionally heard.

"All the police teams, including the Anti-Terror officers are on the ground," said police spokesman Charles Owino. Flames and black smoke rose over the Parking lot of the building complex, where several cars were burned. Many people fled, some of them were injured.

The Shebab militia has repeatedly committed serious attacks in Kenya since the country sent in 2011, troops in the fight against the Islamists in Somalia. In an attack on the Westgate shopping centre, only a few kilometers from the Dusit complex, died in 2013 at least 67 people.
