The U.S. Open, during the 2023 edition concluded with the titles of the American Coco Gauff and the Serbian Novak Djokovic, broke its attendance record (over 3 weeks, with qualifications) by becoming the first Grand Slam to welcome more than 950 000 spectators, an increase of almost 8% compared to 2022.
During the two weeks reserved for the main draws of the Grand Slam tournament, the US Open 2023 attracted 799,402 spectators. The Arthur Ashe court sessions (23,700 spectators) were sold out for the second year in a row.
