Virgile Lacombe, Stade Toulousain scrum coach, after the home victory against Perpignan on Saturday (43-34): “We took 28 points in the second half and that's far too many when we have our ambitions. We lack collective benchmarks. We need to work, to spend time together. When you have the bonus and you lose it there is bound to be frustration. I'm not convinced that the players come out of a match like this with a smile."
Alexandre Roumat (third row): “We had the match in hand with the offensive bonus but we had a difficult end to the game. We moved less well, we fought less. We had a not very nice second half. We would have liked to make a better copy. It’s a point lost.”
François Cros (third row): “We had a good end to the first half but we couldn’t put on the same intensity afterwards. Maybe we slacked off after setting sail. It's a victory that leaves us with regrets because we undoubtedly lost a point. My return? I am very happy to have been able to play again with Stade Toulousain to get rid of the disappointment of the World Cup but there is still work to do to regain our automatisms.
