Yannick Bru, UBB coach, after the defeat in Toulouse 29-22. “He didn't miss much, but not much here is a lot, we knew we had to be generous and perfect at times and we weren't. We were in the match until the fiftieth minute, then we made too many mistakes, we hung on to the branches but inexorably, we felt that the match was slipping away from us. In the last third of the match, we no longer had possession of the ball, we gave stupid penalties, which is not acceptable here. Toulouse was true to itself, they engaged in quite a few duels, we knew that this young team was formidable, dynamic. We didn't tick enough boxes, we're disappointed but we only have ourselves to blame. Now, we are going to replenish ourselves with a lot of humility, there is a little confidence but also a lot of work.”

Nans Ducuing, UBB fullback: “We had a good match, we prepared well, we stirred them up quite a bit but in the end it was Toulouse who won. We wanted to make history but we gave them the match. There was this Toulouse killer instinct, it’s very, very frustrating. There are reasons for satisfaction but in real life it's a bit complicated. We wanted to have a great match, we made them doubt, we had a strategy, we can leave Toulouse with our heads held high.”
