The back of Mont-de-Marsan (Pro D2) Alexandre De Nardi has signed a three-year contract in Montpellier, the Hérault club announced on Friday.
De Nardi, 24, was trained in Mont-de Marsan where he started at the age of five. "Author of two great seasons with his club, Alexandre is a versatile rear-winger with a great burst of speed", appreciates Montpellier manager Philippe Saint-André.
De Nardi will find old acquaintances in the Hérault, such as scrum-half Léo Coly, who also arrived from Mont-de-Marsan last year, but also opener Louis Carbonel and center Arthur Vincent, with whom he was crowned U20 world champion in 2019.
The reigning French champion, ranked in a disappointing 11th place, does not participate in the final phase of the Top 14.
