What a stroke achieved by Aviron Bayonnais! According to information from Canal, Argentinian international winger Mateo Carreras (23 years old, 13 caps) will play for Bayonne next season. The player from Newcastle in England joins the club for three seasons. The very tonic winger made his mark during the recent World Cup by scoring three tries. He will join his compatriots Martin Villar, Lucas Paulos, Facundo Bosch and Rodrigo Bruni. As a reminder, Bayonne has already signed the flyhalf of the French stadium Joris Segonds and the second or third row of Racing 92 Baptiste Chouzenoux (return to the club).
