“The bra jumped”, Lens supporters denounce abusive searches in Le Havre

On Wednesday evening, six RC Lens supporters, present on October 20 in Le Havre for the meeting between HAC and Lens (0-0) at the Stade Océane, filed a complaint following “abusive searches” carried out by the stewards before the match.

“There was only one woman to search the supporters, although there were many of us. She started with the arms, the neck, it was classic. Then she felt the breasts. Normally, during a search, our hands are passed over the middle of our breasts, on the sides, or even below. Except that there, she took, for several of us, our breasts with both hands.”, explained one of them to L’Equipe.

“She went so hard with the palpations that, for some girls, the bra came off. Some had their breasts pinched. She also put her hands on my buttocks and my penis, which is never done. [...] For me, this woman had instructions, and I don't blame her personally."

Another Lens fan, troubled by this search, admits that “it’s the first time during a search that she felt embarrassed and incomprehensible.”

Last Saturday, six northern supporters, including Elisa and Stéphanie, decided to file a complaint at the Lens police station. Faced with the long wait to be able to make the deposit, the latter proceeded differently by completing pre-complaints online, against the Le Havre club. Wednesday evening, the six Lensoise fans took this step. Three others could also do this.
