“With us, everyone speaks Breton, even the accountant! "At lunchtime this Friday, April 23 in the Quimper premises of the Dizale association, conversations are intertwined ... exclusively in Breton. For the past three days, fifteen actors and a handful of technicians have been dubbing the césarised animated film Ma vie de Courgette (Claude Barras, France, 2016), in the regional language.
“We are receiving an international version of the film. Then, Dizale takes care of everything: translation, dubbing, mixing, credits, sometimes even sound effects ", explains Jean-Marie Ollivier, sound engineer. Commissioned by the publishing house of educational content Ti-Embann ar Skolioù, Ma vie de Courgette will be distributed to students of Diwan schools, Breton bilingual courses.
