Frenchman Ugo Humbert, 15th in the world, was eliminated on Sunday in the third round of the Masters 1000 in Miami by German Dominik Koepfer 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Humbert, who was eliminated at the same stage of the competition in Indian Wells, had several break points in the third set, without managing to convert them.

In the next round, Koepfer, 50th in the ATP rankings, will face Russian Daniil Medvedev, world No.3, who defeated Briton Cameron Norrie 7-5, 6-1.
