Crowned Sunday in Paris with the victory of his 40th Masters 1000, the Serbian Novak Djokovic still occupies, with an increased lead over the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the first place in the world ranking published Monday by the ATP.

Holger Rune is the loser of the week, falling three places to 10th. The Dane, winner of the Paris tournament last year, was eliminated this year in the quarter-final by Djokovic. His lost points mathematically allow the Norwegian Casper Ruud (7th), the German Alexander Zverev (8th) and the American Taylor Fritz (9th) to gain a place. Based on his previous ranking, however, Ruud was selected to play the end-of-season Masters next week in Turin, alongside Djokovic and Alcaraz. The Russian Daniil Medvedev, 3rd, the Italian Janik Sinner, 4th, the Russian Andrey Rublev, 5th, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, 6th, and Zverev will also be there.

Finalist at Bercy against Djokovic, the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, 14th, signs the greatest progression in the Top 20, gaining three ranks at once. At 28, Chilean Nicolas Jarry reached the best ranking of his career by moving up one place to 19th in the world. On the French side, Ugo Humbert (23rd), again N.1 tricolor, and Gaël Monfils (76th) each gain three places, despite their eliminations in Paris in the second and first round respectively.
