Rugby World Cup: the composition of Australia against Portugal, a final hope?

The Wallabies are going through a real crossroads during this World Cup. Defeated by Fiji (22-15) then by Wales (40-6), Eddie Jones' men have almost lost all hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals, a first for Australia. A final hope remains, if Fiji were to take less than five points in their two remaining matches (Georgia and Portugal).

To face Portugal on Sunday at Geoffroy Guichard, three changes were made in the starting XV. Fraser McReight comes in on the third line, while Izaia Perese and Lalakai Foketi will act as centers. Prop James Slipper is preparing to play his 21st Rugby World Cup match, overtaking George Gregan.
