The coach of the XV of France Fabien Galthié is suing the magazine Voici for photos taken “without his consent”, in which he appears naked on a beach with his partner, according to a press release sent Thursday by the boss of the Blues to AFP .
“These photos were obtained without our consent. We were notified by third parties of the planned publication and our lawyers immediately asked the newspaper Voici not to publish them. We feel this attack on our privacy as a violation of the fundamental respect to which every individual is entitled,” said Galthié, confirming information from Le Figaro.
“Our lawyers will take all necessary legal measures to protect our rights and defend our privacy,” the press release added.
In its edition published last Friday, the French weekly, specialist in celebrity news, published a series of photos of Fabien Galthié, taken on a Normandy beach, near Dieppe, where the Blues coach appears naked alongside his companion, the singer and actress Helena Noguerra.
These photos would have been taken a few days after the elimination of the Blues, against the South Africans (26-25), in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup.
