Pro D2: Vannes wins in Rouen and remains undefeated, Dax secures at home against Mont-de-Marsan

The leader of Pro D2 Vannes extended his invincibility (8 wins, 1 draw) by winning Friday in Rouen 14-9 during the 9th day.

In this clash of extremes against the red lantern, the Bretons were sometimes pushed around but they achieved a short success thanks to their iron defense and a try at the end of the match from Pedemonte (80 5).

With nine matches without defeat, Vannes equals Brive which had made a similar start during the 2002-2003 season.

The runner-up Provence Rugby won against the promoted Valence-Romans 24-15, until then undefeated at home. End of series on the other hand for Mont-de-Marsan (3rd), after 5 victories in a row. Stade Montois lost to poorly ranked Dax 26-22 during the Landes derby.
