Paris 2024 Olympic Games: 250,000 tickets on sale on April 17, how to take advantage of them?

Those disappointed with the first sales sequences or the latecomers will welcome the news with a big smile. There are still tickets left for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. To mark the 100 days since the event kicks off on April 17, the organizers will put 250,000 places on the market. Tony Estanguet announced the good news this Wednesday.

There will be something for everyone, with a first-come, first-served service, with many disciplines involved: 10,000 tickets for the artistic gymnastics events, 35,000 for beach volleyball taking place at the foot of the Eiffel Tower , 12,000 for table tennis to perhaps encourage the Lebrun brothers… You will have to have a little more luck to get your ticket in judo with 2000 new places on sale (from 24 to 380 euros). Concerning the swimming which will take place at the Paris Defense Arena, 15,000 tickets will be made available to the public.

Football lovers will not be forgotten. Le Parisien specifies that places with prices starting at 24 euros will be put on the market for the matches taking place at the Parc des Princes but also in Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Saint-Étienne. The organizers also specified that the Blues matches will also be affected.

As for basketball fans, the hope of seeing NBA superstars and the American team is reborn: tickets for “Team USA” matches in particular will be available. But to hope to obtain these precious tickets, you will probably have to be very quick to purchase when visiting the Olympic ticketing website. Half of these places will be offered for less than one hundred euros, and only 5% will exceed an amount of 400 euros.

Since the opening of sales to the public, almost eight million tickets for the Olympic events have found buyers, including 63% by the French public. If the ticket office is overheated for the Olympic Games, that of the Paralympic Games is still slowing down: 900,000 tickets have been sold with, however, some events already guaranteed to take place in front of full stands: the paratriathlon, the para-shooting or armchair fencing.
